HomesToLife uses premium leather hides

Selecting only the finest raw hides produced by top cattle breeders in South America, these hides undergo an intricate tanning process comprising of more than 26 stages before becoming the beautiful leather hides.

Our tanneries employ state-of-the-art technologies to process leather in an environmentally friendly manner. All aspects of our leather production comply with strict international safety standards.

Types of leather we produce

The type of leather is distinguished by distinctive characteristics and hence, varied maintenance methods are required.

Full Aniline Leather

Full aniline, the finest leather available, is a full grain leather that exudes a beauty like no other. The amount of treatment such as colour or protective pigments used is minimal, showcasing natural markings and colour differences. The luxurious aniline is the
most demanding to upkeep. Aniline leather is extremely comfortable and soft to the touch. Since it retains all the unique markings and characteristics of the hide, each piece is different from any other one.

Aniline Plus Leather (Semi Aniline Leather)

Aniline Plus leather, also known as semi-aniline leather is similar to full grain aniline leather, except that they are treated with an additional protective finish to prolong the colour lifespan. The grain remains unchanged, highlighting natural features and patterns. While it retains the uniqueness of aniline leather, Aniline Plus leather has more consistent colour and is more resistant to stains. It can stand up to tougher conditions and isn’t damaged as easily.  Different surface characteristics are also created through finishing processes such as embossing and spray effects.

Protected Leather

Protected leather refers to leather hides that are lightly buffed and pigmented to ensure consistency in colour and texture. Protected hides are durable and resistant to stains, making this top grain leather extremely friendly to families and suitable for frequently used furniture in the home.

At HomesToLife, we make quality genuine top grain leather sofa affordable. Customer can choose from 3 leather upholstery options. Half Leather, Full leather and Signature Leather.

1. Signature Leather Upholstery – Most popular option

This best-selling option is popular among our customer because only top or full grain leather of your choice is being used on the sofa.

2. Full Leather Upholstery – Recommended for the price and quality conscious

This option is for those seek both quality and value for money, Full Leather upholstery is the combination of top grain leather on all seating and high contact areas, with split leather on the sides and back of the sofa.

Split Leather is the bottom layer of the cow hide that is less durable and resilient to wear and tear compared to top grain leather. This split leather is processed to mimic the appearance of the top grain leather.

 

3. Half Leather Upholstery – Most affordable leather option

As the name suggests, this option combines top grain leather with synthetic PU leather. Top grain leather is used on seating and high contact areas, while PU leather are used on the sides and back of sofa. PU leather is processed to mimic the appearance of the top grain leather.

 Natural Characteristics of Leather

Markings such as grain variation, wrinkles, skin folds, scars or patterns of original hair follicles are inherent in leather; and are not quality defects.
